Here's a discord server I'm using, this will get reorganized as we move forward with everything but it has a lot of students who may end up contributing to the wider effort here. We can colonize it with HEGs mwahaha
@ukilukukic03Oh I don't even think I have any score counter visible in it yet haha. Yeah literally just pushed a fix for BPM too :-) It requires a basically flawless signal right now as well but this is all in the weeds. The Nexus app is not hooked up to anything yet as today's task is getting the multiplayer server functions up, then we will be adding all kinds of stuff for multiplayer. We're calling it project Warioparty :P Warioware is just an awesome minigame onslaught, and mario party is that but multiplayer. So that's our MO to churn out as many ideas as possible and generalize the framework as best as possible.
Yeah I've been following your progress with the new platform. I find the Nexus group meditation to be the most interesting applet on there, too bad it's not compatible with HEG!
I've tried out the pulse monitor and it seems it still doesn't work properly, it said my heart rate was 266 (E: I just tried it out again and it's jumping quite much from 40 to 160), but I know you'll manage to get it working properly.
All in all, it's a very good software. My only concern is if I'm using it properly hahah
I just try to breathe 6BPM and the score goes up to a certain level and it remains there, regardless of if I'm focused or I'm lost in my thoughts.
This is about to happen! Been very concentrated on getting this new software ready first and ironing out remaining bugs as this is gonna create a real collaboration space finally. If you want to see what's cooking: https://app.brainsatplay.com :-) Def has bugs but this is why I haven't made a more formal announcement yet (perfectionism kills). Kinda going for a flash site vibe but it's a valid Neurofeedback tool for EEG and HEG. The code base is written for quick learning and churning out content, so we are gonna build a community of students and whomever out of that and develop as much BCI functionality as possible.
This will be the definitive HEG software and interfaces with Muse, Cyton, and my FreeEEG project (and whatever else I'll develop), even have HRV and breathing in for the HEG am still just developing some visuals. I'll go through a bit of a rebrand with the next device I'm working on and a small new team (finally) but the core open source community-first, low cost etc ethics will stay the same as that is fundamental to our ability to push this whole community forward.
Hi Josh! The invite to the Discord server is expired. Can you please generate another one? I'd love to join. :)
